Regional Expression of Cultural Architecture:Review of Yongjia Public Activity Center Design

该文结合永嘉县公共活动中心的设计,探讨在特定环境与功能的要求下、塑造反映地域特色的大众文化建筑的设计思路;提出文化建筑地域性表达的两个策略:首先在空间上,结合当地的场地条件、地理气候、材料工具等进行创作;其次是时间上,在当地的历史文化积淀中提取灵感和符号。

With the illustration of the design of Yongjia public activity center, based on the certain environment and function requests, the paper discusses the design idea of constructing the popular cultural building reflecting the time feature and the regional character. Meanwhile, the paper brings two key points of the design of the cultural building forward： Firstly, Design combined with site conditions, geography and climate, materials, tools, etc in the space dimension. Secondly, Extracting inspiration and symbols in the local historical and cultural heritage in the time dimension.
