Corridor of Landscape Architecture in Lingnan

廊是园林设计中的重要部件,它既是水平交通的有力策划者,也是筑园造景的构图元素。该文以岭南园林中的"廊"为研究对象,阐析廊的形态和特点、常见的支撑构件材料、尺度和节点处理手法,分析廊作为可遮阳避雨的交通空间、建筑室内外的过渡空间、连接要素以及生活场所时的功能,重点论述廊在园林景观空间组织中所发挥的分隔、引导、展现和衬托等的重要作用,最后通过总结廊在现代岭南园林建筑中的创新设计手法,展望廊在新时代必将以新的形式不断丰富其内涵。

Corridor is an important component in landscape design, because it＇s a powerful mastermind of horizontal traffic and a composition element of landscape making. Taking corridor of landscape architecture in Lingnan as research object, we expatiate on the forms and features of corridor, and analyze the function of corridor as traffic space which can avoid sunshine and rain, transiting space between indoor and outdoor, connecting elements and living place. We stress on discussing the corridor which plays an important role of separating, guiding, revealing and foiling in landscape＇s space organization. In the end, by summarizing the creative design techniques of corridor in new landscape architecture in Lingnan, we prospect that corridor will enrich its connotation by new forms in new times.
