摘要
发展旅游业需要高校培养大批具有创新能力的高素质人才。但目前具 备迎接知识经济挑战素质的旅游人才相当匮乏，旅游高等教育应责无旁贷地承 担起培养高素质人才的重任。广东商学院与全国许多院校一样，其旅游管理专 业正面临着严峻的挑战，进一步明确办学方向，完善人才培养模式，才能培养出 社会需要的人才。
Developing trourism field, large groups of high-quality personnels with abilities to bring forth new ideas should be trained by higher education. But at present, we are short of this kind of tourism personnels who are with the qualities to challenge knowledge economy. Higher education of tourism should be duty-bound to take on the important task of training high-quality personnels. The Tourism Management Specialty of the Business College of Guandong is facing a serious challenge just like many colleges all over china. In order to train qualified personnels required by the society, we should make clear the direction for running the college, perfecting the training patter.
