摘要
偶像崇拜是基督宗教与其他宗教相遇过程中常会碰到的问题,也是与其他宗教对话须妥善处理好和有待进一步反思的问题。明清之际天主教与儒家相遇,就碰到了偶像崇拜跨文化诠释的困境。文章从偶像崇拜这个关键词入手,来呈现这一困境,并揭示这一困境的成因以及关于中国礼仪性质争论的实质。
Idolatry is a question usually being asked during Christianity＇ s encounter with other religion, and this is also a question need to be reflected. While Catholic met with Confucianism in Ming and Qing dynasty, there was a predicament on intercultural interpretation of idolatry. The paper focuses on idolatry, and the author tries to display the predicament, to discuss the reason and the true meaning of ＂Chinese Controversy＂.
