The command and control, battle management and communications （C2BMC） system are the core of the US ballistic missile defense. The functions, goals and developing circumstances of the C2BMC system are analyzed detailedly. The weakness parts of the system are found, and on this basis some thoughts and countermeasures are proposed, which gives helpful guidance on the development and construction of ballistic missiles.
