病机是中医学理论体系的核心,病机研究是中医理论创新发展的突破口。蛋白质组的整体性、动态性、时空性、复杂性与同样具有整体性、动态性、时相性、复杂性等特点的中医病机有着惊人的相似。将蛋白质组学运用于中医病机的研究中,对于探讨病机本质、演变规律及疗效确切的经方、验方的作用机制,促进中医药现代化具有重要意义。

Pathogenesis is the core of the theoretical system in Chinese medicine （CM）. Pathogenesis research is the breakthrough of the innovation and development of CM theories. Proteomics and CM pathogene- sis were amazingly similar in aspects of integrity, dynamics, space, and complexity. It is of great significance u- sing proteomics methods in studying CM pathogenesis essence and evolution laws, exploring the mechanisms of classical prescriptions or recipes with therapeutic efficacy, and promoting the modernization of CM.
