关于香港人口的分布与其土地利用问题的意见

SOME IDEAS ON LAND USE IN HONG KONG IN RESPECT OF ITS DISTRIBUTION OF POPULATION

概述了香港人口分布和土地利用现状的特点 ,根据香港的土地利用特点 ,结合香港地势图分析 ,全区的土地利用以城市用地为主 ,主要利用沿海冲积 -海积平原和坡地。文中针对高台地和斜坡地利用提出一些新意见 ,务求全体香港市民不受滑坡的威胁。

Some features of distribution of population and status of land use in Hong Kong are summarized. According to the topographic maps and the features of land use in Hong Kong, it is pointed out that land use of Hong Kong has been taken as the principal aspect of city proper, and the alluvial-marine plains along the coast and hill sides in the area have been fully utilized generally for the city proper, parks, mainlines of transportation and wharfs. There are 320 km 2 of high planation surfaces (flatiron grounds) which are over 100 m in altitude in Hong Kong.Many new buildings can be possibly constructed there.It should be discussed that the possibility of moving some buidings from the hill sides, such as those in Central District of Hong Kong Island, according to the geological conditions of the slopes on the hill sides, especially the landslide areas of Hong Kong Island, parks and simple houses should be constructed and flowers, grass, shrubs should be planted. For avoiding the danger of landslides,a new plan of land use in Hong Kong should be drawn.
