On the Construction of Campus Culture

高校的校园文化建设是整个国家文化建设的重要组成部分。有形的物质文化建设要加强，无形的精神文化建设更要花大气力、予以高度重视。校园文化建设应该避免一味物质、形式化的倾向；避免重专业技能、轻素质培育的功利主义的弊端；避免急功近利、学风浮躁的影响。按照大学精神的目标，返瑛归真，加强道德、精神层面的文化建设，建树长久校园文化新风，育化百代社会建设才俊。

The cultural construction is a vital part of the whole nation＇s cultural construction. Intangible materialist cultural construction should be strengthened, intangible spiritual cultural construction should be paid more attention and more strength. Campus cultural construction should avoid the tendency of material pursuing; avoid the drawback of paying more attention to major skills than quality cultivation; avoid the influence of urging for success and fickle study atmosphere. According to the aim of the college education, we should return to the normal aspect of education, strengthen the cultural construction on the layer of morality and spirit, have a long--time new learning atmosphere and cultivate the useful talents for the society.
