论梁实秋译莎的“崇真”思想

On Liang Shi-qiu's Thought of “Pursuing Sincerity” in Translating Complete Works of Shakespeare

梁实秋翻译的《莎士比亚全集》渗透着"崇真"思想,主要体现在三方面:一是注重完整引入莎剧的风俗习惯、民族心理、典型意象等文化信息;二是尝试如实传达莎剧的冗长定语、条件状语从句以及十四行诗等语言形式;三是积极引进"戏剧文本类型"以及学习西方戏剧意识。梁实秋译莎的"崇真"思想与他"和而不同"的哲学倾向以及当时"欧化"风尚等内在因素和外在因素密切相关。

The thought of ＂pursuing sincerity＂ is revealed in Liang Shi-qiu＇s translationfo Complete Works of Shakespeare, which includes the following three aspects： First, Liang Shi-qiu focuses on fully introducing cultural information such as customs and traditions, nation psychology and some typical images. Second, he tries his best sincerely translating some language forms such as sonnets, long attributive and adverbial clause of condition. Third, he actively advocates introducing text type of drama and learning the Western drama consciousness. All these are closely connected with the inner factor and the outer factor, which includes Liang Shi-qiu＇s philosophic tendency of ＂harmony in difference＂ and foreignization tendency at that time.
