A Discussion on Editors' Responsibilities Based on Editing and Proofreading Errors——A Case Study of Editing and Proofreading Errors in Wen Yuan Bin Fen

以《文苑缤纷》、《前辈——从张元济到陈原》编校失误为例,分类分析编校工作中可能出现的失误以及产生失误的原因,探讨新时期编辑在工作职责范围内应承担的责任。提出要当好一名编辑,就必须要有"一字不误"、专心致志的责任意识和经得起考验的文字功底,以及广博的学识修养。

Taking the editing and proofreading errors in Wen Yuan Bin Fen and Predecessor： From Zhang Yuanji to Chen Yuan as a case study, the article classifies and analyzes the reasons for the potential editing and proofreading errors in editing and proofreading work, probes into the responsibilities editors assume in the new era, and then argues that qualified editors are expected to equip themselves with responsibility of being dedicated to work in an effort to avoid a single error, solid writing skills and extensive knowledge, which represent editors＂ responsibilities in the new times.
