Influence of Different Diets on Fattening Effect of Beef Cattle?at Different Stages

试验对天水地区肉牛生产中应用最为广泛的西黄牛(西门塔尔×本地黄牛)为研究对象,对其各个不同生长阶段(6月龄,12月龄、18月龄和24月龄)分组育肥,测定其增重、饲料转化率、经济效益等,对西黄牛的育肥效果进行研究。结果表明,不同年龄育肥牛的增重效果、饲料转化率均以18月龄组最好,其次为12月龄组和24月龄组,6月龄组育肥效果最差,以12月龄和18月龄的经济效益最好。

Simmental crossbreds（Simmental cattle ×local yellow cattle） widely used in Tianshui area were as object of study, the cattle were separated to 4 groups, including 6 month group, 12- month group, 18- month group and 24- month group, body weight gain （BWG）, feed conversion ratio （FCR） and economic benefit were measured. The results demonstrated that BWG and FCR of 18--month old were the best among the groups, next came 12--month old and 24--month old group, 6 month old group was the worst, the economic benefit of 12--month old and 18--month old group were the best.
