The working principle of line-type optical fiber heat fire detector is introduced; the line- type optical fiber heat fire detector is compared with temperature sensing cable in respects of working principle, anti-interference capability etc. Besides, the application of line-type optical fiber heat fire detector to the following places is introduced： concealed positions of important facilities, long and narrow spaces.
