Tentative Analysis of the New Century Overseas Chinese Students Bidirectional Culture Dissemination in Overseas Chinese University

进入新世纪以来,中国越来越重视对外文化传播和交流,因此我们不应忽略在中国华侨学府求学的侨生群体。侨生是传播中国文化的桥梁,是一群特殊的传播使者,由于身份特殊,他们在国内高校的学习和生活就具有了特殊的文化双向传播特点。侨生本身既是中国文化的接受者,同时也是海外文化的传播者,这种文化的传播不仅是双向的,而且是自觉的、主动的、相互的输出和接收。在双向文化传播中,最受益的当属中国文化的传播。

In the new century, China puts more and more emphasis on culture exchanges and dissemination with the outside world. And we should not ignore the group of overseas Chinese students who pursue studies at overseas Chinese university. The overseas Chinese students are some special messengers who undertake the task of dissem- inating Chinese culture. With the special status, their study and life have culture characteristics of bidirectional culture dissemination. When overseas Chinese students study in Chinese university, they themselves are the cul- tural receiver as well as culture disseminator. Therefore, this type of culture dissemination is not only bidirection- al, conscious, active, but also the output and input of each other. And the dissemination of Chinese culture re- ceives more benefit during this process.
