摘要
旅游景点名称的英语翻译其实就是一种跨文化交际行为,需要译者从跨文化的视角来审视其文化内涵,从而将旅游景点的文化信息准确地传递给国外游客。本文从跨文化角度出发,以衡阳旅游景点名称的英译为研究文本,探讨了旅游景点名称的英语翻译,以期促进我国旅游业的发展,从而推进我国传统文化的对外传播。
Translation of names of scenic spots is a cross-cultural communication, the translator should consider the cultural meaning of the names of scenic spots and convey the cultural meaning accurately to the foreign travelers. This paper illustrates the translation of names of scenic spots from the perspective of crosscultural consciousness to promote the development of tourism in our country and spread our country's culture.
