Application of Temporal Information in Topic Tracking

摘要 针对如何将时间信息嵌入话题跟踪系统进行了探究,比较倒数方式与跨度-交叉度方式各自对话题跟踪系统的影响。通过实验证明,跨度-交叉度的时间信息嵌入方式对于提升话题跟踪系统性能更有效。 Topic Tracking is one of the important tasks of TDT. And temporal information plays a role in describing a topic. In this paper, we discusses how to embed temporal information in Topic Tracking system and compares the reciprocal manner with the span-cross manner. Experiments show that the span-cross manner displays better in improving the TT system performance.
