In May, the central bank undertook7 repo operations worth a total of 280.0 billion yuan, up 134.0 billion yuan compared with the month-ago figure. Meanwhile, the central bank undertook 2 reverse repos worth a total of 89.0 billion yuan （See Table 1）. In May, no central bank bill was issued.
