Protection of Victims' Rights in China——The Much Neglected Victim

从世界范围来看,被告人一直以来是法学界关注的重点,各国均重视保护刑事被告人的权利,认为被告人的权利容易受到侵犯,而刑事诉讼被害人作为当事人的权利,却在一定程度上受到忽视。加强对刑事被害人诉讼权利的保护是世界各国刑诉法发展的一大趋势,是实现国家法制化、民主化的重要标志。

It is generally considered that the defendant's rights are vulnerable to violations,so greater attention has always been paid to them than those of the victim.However,currently,this is no longer the norm as more is being done to protect the victim's rights worldwide,symbolizing a nation's progress of legislation and democratization.
