Hypoglycemia is a major problem in the treatment of diabetes. The effective and safe control of blood glucose is an urgent need for clinical treatment of diabetes. Insulin is an important method of hypoglycemic therapies. Premixed insulin analogues can take advantage of both the efficacy and safety, besides effective blood glucose control. It shows some superiorities, such as better prandial blood glucose control, lower incidence of hypoglycemia, significant improvement of blood sugar fluctuations, more flexible treatment options, easier application, and having a much wider applicable subjects.
