经济增长对贫困变动的影响及影响途径分析——以新疆农村为例

Analysis on the Effect and the Ways of Effect of Economic Growth to Changes in Poverty——Based on the Date from Rural Areas of Xinjiang

以农村居民人均纯收入的增长作为经济增长,运用1988～2010年新疆农村人均纯收入分组数据,研究新疆经济增长与农村贫困变动之间的关系,并且对经济增长影响贫困变动的途径进行分析。研究结果表明,经济增长对新疆农村贫困的减少起到了显著的作用,而农业的发展和非农就业的增长是提高农民收入从而减缓农村贫困的主要途径。因此,推动农村经济增长仍然是新疆今后扶贫工作的重点。

This paper examines the relationship between economic growth and poverty in rural areas of Xinjiang by using the per capita net income of rural households from 1988 to 2010. And the economic growth in this paper is measured by changes in per capita net income. Thus, the study finds out that economic growth plays an important role in reducing poverty in rural areas of Xinjiang. And the growth of agriculture and non agricultural employment are the two main ways to reduce poverty by increasing income. Therefore, it is suggested that improvement in economic growth of rural area should be focused on the poverty reducing policy of this region.
