摘要
现有翻译硕士(MTI)学位论文评价主要借用传统学术型硕士学位论文的评价方式,与MTI教育的要求相脱节。笔者在分析现有评价方式的基础上,根据学位论文管理相关条例,借鉴其他专业学位论文评价方式,结合MTI教育的特点及对学位论文的形式与要求,尝试提出MTI学位论文的评价方式。这一评价方式包括定性评价和定量评价两个部分,定性评价主要对学位论文的整体质量进行评价,定量评价则根据设定的评价指标、衡量标准和各指标所占权重确定具体得分。
Presently, the evaluation practice for traditional MA theses is applied to evaluating MTI theses, which is not appropriate as such an evaluation method cannot meet the requirements of MTI education. The authors of this paper attempt to suggest an evaluation method for MTI theses based on the analysis of the present evaluation practice, regulations concerning degree theses management, evaluation methods of other professional programs, characteristics of MTI education, and the require- ments and forms of MTI theses. This evaluation method is composed of two parts, with the qualitative part focusing on the abstract comments of the overall quality of the thesis, and the quantitative part responsible for the specific score of the thesis according to the indexes of evaluation, criteria of each index, as well as the percentage that each index holds in the quality of whole thesis.
