Government protection and usage of medical books in Song Dynasty

医学书籍作为中医学传承发展的重要形式,为历代所重。文章探讨了宋政府采取颁布诏令收集医学书籍、建立馆阁、设置校正医书局、出版医籍文献目录、选作医学教材、低价出售医书等措施,并采取采用先进的印刷技术进行刊印等积极有效的措施,加强对医学书籍的保护和利用,其规模和质量等均取得了很大的成就,促进了医药事业的发展与进步,对后世具有很强的借鉴意义。

In any times and age,medical books are always seen as an important tool in inheriting and developing traditional Chinese medicine.This article aims to discuss relevant strategies used by Song government,such as setting orders and policies of collecting medical books,building pavilions as national library,establishing department to correct book contents,selecting medical text books,and selling medical books in a low and affordable price,in order to protect these books,as well as efficiently use them.After introducing advanced printing skills,both quality and quantity of medical books have shown significant improvement,which has enhanced the process and development of medical science,and set positive reference to following generations.
