摘要
本文报告应用体外培养3~7天人胚胸腺组织,经三角肌深部肌肉注射途径,移植治疗36例Ⅰ型糖尿病IDDM患者。随访3~12个月,结果显示,移植后血糖、尿糖,胰岛素用量均明显减少。显效4例(11.1%),有效18例(50%),疗效短暂(疗效稳定1~2个月)4例(11.1%),无效10例(27.8%),有效率72.2%。
Transplantation of cultured human fetal thymus fragments was performed for the treatment of 36 IDDM patients. It was found that the thymus fragments being cultured for 3-7 days became more active biologically. The patients were observed for 3-12 months after transplantation, the results showed that the level of blood glucose, urine glucose and the dose of insulin needed were decreased than before. But the level of glycosylated hemoglobin and C-peptide did not change significantly. On the other hand, peripheral OKT4 and OKT8 increased, but the OKT4/OKT3 ratio decreased because of the OKT3 had a bigger increment after transplantation.
It was suggested that the transplantation of cultured human fetal thymus fragments was effective for the treatment of patients with IDDM. The results also suggested that the therapeutic efficacy was related to the factors released from thymus fragments which were acting in pancreatic β-cells as well as their direct effect on the metabolism of blood glucose.
