清代中后期南浔镇传统工商业经济发展探微

Probing into the Development of Traditional Handcrafts and Commerce in Nanxun in Late Qing Dynasty

作为"湖丝"加工与销售的专业型市镇,南浔镇在江南市镇群中一直占据着突出地位。但就一般意义而言,南浔镇首先是作为周边农村的经济中心而存在的,其经济结构也并非单一的"湖丝"产业所能涵盖,而是包含着多种经济成分。到了晚清时期,南浔镇不仅商品经济发展得十分繁盛,经济结构"发育"得相当完善,而且其本身也孕育出了某些近代性因素。

As a market town specializing in the production and sales of Huzhou silk, Nanxun always occupied a salient status in the net of Jiangnan market towns. In general, however, Nanxun primarily served as an economic centre of the villages around Nanxun, and its eco- nomic structure wasn＇t completely embodied by the sole Huzhou silk industry hut included multi- type economic components. By the late Qing dynasty, not only Nanxun^s commercial economy had flourished greatly, and its economic structure had grown maturely, but also Nanxun itself had bred some modern economic factors.
