Electronegativity and the Energy of Valence Orbits of Atoms Ⅰ. The Geometric Average Energy of the Valence Orbits of Atoms

摘要 文章利用中性原子的价层轨道能 ,给出了计算中性原子电负性的公式 : EA=Πni=1 (-Ei)niΣn,利用该式计算了 10 0种元素的中性原子的电负性 ,计算结果与国内外新近的几套元素电负性相当一致。 Using the energy of valence orbits of neutral atoms,a new formula for calculation neutral atom electronegativities has been obtained: A=Π n i=1 (-E i) n iΣn .The electronegativities of neutral atoms have been calculated.The calculated results for 100 elements are presented and many detailed discussions given.The calculated results of the present study agree quite well with the several sets of electronegativities of elements published in literatures recently.
