It cannot be underesti mated that reference and implmention of relevent standards is important and imperitive for ensuring normal operation of an enterprise and its product quality. Threaded connection is a typical structure and has been widely applied in machenical industry, in diesel and gasline engine industry in particular. The paper presents the interpretation of several relevent fastener standars and concluds that noraml manufacturing and product quality can only be enusured by strict implementation of standard, which is demenstraded by two production cases.
