The Meet in Beijing Arts Festival is an annual festival jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the State Administration of Radio,Film and TV and Beijing Municipal Government The festival celebrated its 12th session in 2012, with the theme of＂romantic spring＂. During the one-month time, some 60 performing arts groups from nearly 20 countries around the world, including Cuba, Spain, Argentina, France Japan and South Africa, presented 60 theatre performances and 100 outdoor performances. In addition, various art exhibitions were also on display in Beijing＇s museums and galleries.
