This paper introduces the requirements from Heilongjiang Electric Power Company Limited for propelling the construction of intelligent grid according to the development strategy formulated by State Grid Corporation and the process of strengthening technology development and improvement in spheres, such as power generation, transmission, transformation, distribution, consumption, dispatching and communication information. Based on the practice of every link, the paper analyzes the effect of intelligent Heilongjiang grid and its prospect.
