中国农村居民教育对个人收入的影响——基于1989年～2009年微观面板数据的实证研究

Effects of Education of China's Rural Residents on Individual Income:An Empirical Research Based on the 1989～2009 Micro Panel Data

利用中国健康与营养调查的微观面板数据研究农村居民教育对于个人收入的影响,结果表明,农村居民的受教育程度对其收入水平具有显著影响,但对主要从事农业生产的农村居民的收入影响较小。此外,还提出了农村教育中存在高学历人才非农化的困境,测算出长期内教育对农村居民收入提升的空间。最后提出化解农村教育瓶颈的政策建议,以促进农民居民收入水平的提高。

The micro panel data of China Health and Nutrition Survey is used by the paper to estimate the effect of rural residents＇ education level on individual income. The result shows that education level has a significant influence on rural residents＇ individual annual income. However, as for rural residents whose pri- mary occupation is agriculture, the effect of education on individual income is much less. Furthermore, it points out the bottleneck of rural education, namely that most of rural residents who have received advanced education have left the countryside, and also calculates the long-run promotion space of rural resident＇ s edu- cation and income. Finally, some suggestions are proposed to resolve the bottleneck of rural education and to increase the income level of rural residents.
