爱国主义精神是东江红色文化的重要内容。东江红色文化中的爱国主义精神具有其独特魅力,主要表现在,爱国主义贯穿东江近代历史的始终,爱国主义与革命主义相结合,爱国但不排外。东江红色文化爱国主义精神的形成,既是近代中国社会历史发展和东江地域环境影响的结果,同时也是东江人民努力奋斗不断探索的思想结晶。

The patriotic spirit is the important essential of Dongjiang Red Culture, and has its unique charm. The first manifestation of patriotic spirit in Dongjiang Red Culture is that it runs through the modern history of Dongjiang,and the second is the com- bination of the patriotism and revolutionism, but without patriotism. The formation of patriotic spirit in Dongjiang Red Culture is the result of devel- opment of China modern history and the environment the Dongjiang region, and at the same time,it is also the thoughts quintessence of people of Dongjiang.
