As an art without borders,music has a variety of transmission routes. Competition is a kind of effective means of transmis- sion. This article reviews the briefing and experience of Hang Kong - Asia piano competition, then puts forward some thought - provok- ing questions on China music education, especially the piano education. And finally this paper provides some enlightenment through the successful experience of the Hang Kong - Asia piano competition.
