美国华裔文学的创作及汉译都承载着中美跨文化交流的使命,充当着中美人民相互了解的媒介。汉译者在做好传递美国华裔文学作品中民族形象的同时,应注意加深了解美国文化,努力减少翻译过程中产生的变异,以促进中美文化交流。

The creation and Chinese transaltion of Chinese American literature is carried by the mission of intercultural communication between China and America and the media of mutual understanding between the people of two countries. The Chinese translators are not only supposed to make a good transmission of the national iamge in the works of Chinese American literature but also pay more attention to the further understanding of American culture with the effort to decrease the variation in the course of translation for the promotion of the cultural communication.
