Study on the Intelligent Coal Yard Management System for Thermal Power Plants

An introduction is being presented to the concept of intelligent coal yard, together with a discussion on general functional requirements of the intelligent coal yard management system, and a description to specific structure, individual module functions and application status of a newly developed management system. Application of the system may help to realize intelligent management on coal yard and blended coal combustion according to actual requirement of boiler, so as to achieve optimized fuel control for power plants. Moreover, it points out that the system needs to be further improved.
