Your Excellency Executive Secretary Alicia Bacena, Ladies and gentlemen, It gives me great pleasure to come to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean （ECLAC） on the occasion of my visit to four Latin American countries after attending the UN Conference on Sustainable Development. I wish to begin by extending, on behalf of the Chinese Government and people, cordial greetings to the people of Chile and other Latin American and Caribbean countries. I also wish to pay high tribute to ECLAC for its efforts over the years in promoting relations between China and Latin America and the Caribbean.
