我国民办高校的危机与发展对策

The Crises and Development Strategies of Private Universities in China

我国民办高校起步晚、发展快,为我国高等教育发展做出了巨大贡献。但我国民办高校在取得巨大成就的背后也隐藏着发展的危机,主要体现在民办高校办学理念落后、办学质量低下、市场与生源竞争残酷、资金来源单一、政府扶持力度较小、外部政策环境不稳定以及社会偏见等方面。民办高校应适时转变办学观念,拓宽投资渠道、改变资金来源单一现状,改革学校内部不合理的管理体制,根据实际情况积极转型、提高教学质量培养实用人才,以解决民办高校发展过程中出现的危机。同时,政府必须切实加强对民办高校的扶持力度,并改善管理上的"越位"、"错位"、与"失位"现象,以使我国民办高校健康发展。

The private universities in china which start late but develop so fast have made significantcontribution to Chinese higher education. However, with the glorious achievements, more and more developmental crises are emerging, which is chiefly manifested in the form of out-dated philosophy of schooling, low quality of running a school, cruel market competition, limited sources of funds, the lack of good external surroundings and support from government policy and social bias, etc. The private universities must take measures such as changing out-dated ideas, reforming the single investment system and irrational management system inside universities, actively promoting the transformation and improving teaching quality to cultivate practical talents according to actual circumstances to defuse the crises in the development process. Meanwhile government should strengthen effectively the support to private universities and solve the problems of the offside, absence, malposition in the management process to help healthy development of private universities.
