Five new sesquiterpenoids （1-5）, namely chlospicates A--E （1-5）, along with ten known sesquiterpenoids and three known sesquiterpenoid dimers, were isolated from the whole plant of Chloranthus spicatus. Their struc- tures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data.
