摘要
STS教育源自于人们对科学技术成就带来的负面效应的深刻反思和20世纪中后期的西方科学教育的危机。它的出现给科学教育带来了新的活力,世界各国开始在大学中开展STS教育,并且逐步发展至中小学。同时,STS教育的开展带来了一个新的问题——教师的STS观念是否会直接影响学生STS观念的获得。文章通过对职前与在职教师STS观念的调查的分析,说明职前与在职教师的STS观念对STS教育的重要性。
STS education comes from the deep reflection about the negative effect which human scientific and technological achievements made and the western science education crisis in the 20th century. It brings new vigor to science education. The u-niversities around the world begin to start their STS curriculum. And it gradually developed to elementary and secondary schools. At the same time, a new problem is brought with the development of STS education - - whether teachers' beliefs about STS is-sues have a direct effect on students. This article, analysis the studies about pre - service and in - service teachers' beliefs about STS issues, explain the importance of teachers' beliefs about STS issues to STS education.
