Relationship between CD40 signal passway and choroidal neovascularization

摘要 年龄相关性黄斑变性、病理性近视及眼外伤等多种眼病均可造成脉络膜新生血管形成(choroidal neovascularization,CNV)。其发病机制尚未完全阐明。分化群40蛋白(CD40)及其配体(CD40L)构成的共刺激系统是免疫细胞间的重要信号转导途径,活化的CD40分子刺激多种促血管生成因子如血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)、碱性成纤维细胞生长因子等的分泌,导致CNV。在脉络膜新生血管疾病中已检测出高水平表达的CD40与CD40L。干预CD40信号通路有可能成为CNV治疗的新的靶点。 Choroidal neovascularization (CNV) can be caused by age-related macular degeneration, pathologic myopia, ocular trauma, and other eye diseases. The pathogenesis of CNV has not been fully eluci-dated. Cluster of differentiation 40 protein (CD40) and its ligand (CD40L) costimulatory system is an im-portant signal transduction pathway in immune ceXls, which activates CD40 to stimulate a variety of angiogen-ic growth factor secretion, such as VEGF, basic fibroblast growth factor, and leads to the CNV. The high level of expression of CD40 and CD40L has been detected in CNV related diseases. Intervention of CIM0 signal pathway may become a new target for CNV treatment.
