早期儒学、道学对性本源的认识比较开放。至宋明理学时期明确提出“存天理，灭人欲”，形成性禁锢观念。禁欲主义对中国近、现代性观念影响极为深广。伴随着改革开放，中国人的性观念有很大变化，婚恋以性爱为基础是性观念变化的总趋势。

Early stage the knowledge of sex origin was civilized of confucianism and Taoism. To the stage of Confucian school of philosophy of Song and Ming Dynasty, 'exist the course of nature, destroy person's desire' was put forward clearly, and the idea of sexual shackle was become. Asceticism affected the sexual idea deeply and extensively in modern times in China. Following reforming, Chinese sexual idea has greatly changed. Marriage based on the erotosex becomes a tendency of the change of sexual idea.
