二十一世纪是一个国际化的知识经济时代,培养具有创新素质的英语人才是一种全新的教育理念,明确了课程体系设置是人才培养服务的指导思想,同时本文也分析了地方工科高等院校本科英语专业翻译课程体系设置的现状,指出现有课程体系存在的弊端,并提出了相应的调整对策,旨在培养适应社会经济发展需要的复合型应用人才。

In the 21 st century of international economic era, developing creative English talents is a piece of new educational guiding concept. It can make course setting become guidance for talents＇development. The paper analyzes the present conditions of translation course setting in the local science colleges, poses the problems and gives us some suggestions to solve the problems. It aims to de- velop compound talents for local economic development.
