How far away is fusion power?

摘要 聚变能源是人类的终极梦想之一.在近60年的时间里,聚变能源研究取得了大量重要进展,但也还有很多问题没有解决.本文将综合介绍聚变的概念,主要聚变方案,研究简史,主要困难,最近的研究进展,发展前景,以及聚变能源实现后将给社会带来的深刻影响. The fusion power is one of the uhimate dreams of human kind. In near sixty years of fusion research, many great leap-forwards have been achieved, but severe challenges also linger. This article introduces the concept of fusion power, mainstream fusion researches, a brief history of fusion research, major challenges, recent progresses, perspective of fusion power in this century, and the revolution of human society once it comes true.
