2011年12月19日，国家大剧院主办的“凝固的旋律——国家大剧院雕塑作品邀请展”隆重开幕。这是国内首个以表演艺术为主题的大型雕塑展览，展览题为“凝固的旋律”，旨在以雕塑的形式和载体演绎与之情理相通的音乐、舞蹈等表演艺术，给观众带来不一样的视觉体验。展览汇集了国内外112位艺术家的150件优秀作品，是对目前雕塑界表演艺术题材创作的一次较为全面的展示。展品除了一部分陈设在水下展厅，还首度在剧院公共空间里展示，2012年2月2日，国家大剧院组织“凝固的旋律——国家大剧院雕塑作品邀请展”

December 19,2011,the National Centre for the Performing Arts,sponsored by the ＂Solidification of the Melody-the sculpture of the National Centre for the Performing Arts Invitational Exhibition ＂opened.This is the first performing arts as the theme of the sculpture exhibition,the exhibition entitled ＂The solidification of the melody＂ to interpretation of the sense the same with music,dance and other performing arts to sculpture in the form and carrier,to bring the audience out of the ordinary visual experience.The exhibition brings together 150 outstanding works of 112 artists at domestic and abroad.It is the current about sculp- tor and performance art theme creation comprehensive display.Except for the part exhibits display in the Watertown hall,still one part exhibits displays in the theater public space.February 2,2012,the National Centre for the Performing Arts Organization ~Solidification Melody-the Sculpture Invitational Exhibition in National Centre for the Performing Arts＂ Symposium,invited well-known the sculptor,art critic and profes- sional representatives of the media sculpture exhibition itself, art exhibitions and collections of the National Centre for the Performing Arts,and indoor and outdoor space planning was discussed.
