脱轨器是用于保护线路内车辆及其维护人员安全的设备,通过手动或自动方式操纵脱轨器上轨,使误入线路区间的机车车辆脱离钢轨,保障作业人员、车辆及设备的安全,调车司机通过脱轨器表示器的显示,判断是否可以进入线路区间。

Derailer is one kind of equipment to ensure the safety of trains and maintainers on the rail- roads, which can derail separate locomotives or vehicles misled on railroads by manually or automatically operating a derailer. By the display of the derailer~ indictor, the shunting drivers can decide whether it is permitted to enter a section of the railroads.
