疏水阳离子改性聚乙烯醇施胶剂的制备及在彩色喷墨打印纸中的应用

Preparation of the Surface Sizing Agent of Hydrophobically Cation-Modified Polyvinyl Alcohol and Its Application in Color Inkjet Printing Paper

摘要 以(3-甲基丙烯酰胺丙基)十二烷基二甲基氯化铵为改性单体,采用共聚方式合成了疏水阳离子改性聚乙烯醇施胶剂,分别用红外光谱、差示扫描量热仪、拉力仪和光学显微镜对合成的疏水阳离子改性PVA的结构、热性能、力学性能以及膜对油墨的吸收性能进行了表征和测定。结果表明,合成的疏水阳离子改性PVA具有良好的力学性能、结晶性能和油墨固着性能。将合成的疏水阳离子改性PVA用于彩色喷墨打印纸表面施胶,并测试了其彩喷打印性能,结果显示疏水阳离子改性PVA能明显增加图像色密度和抗水性,提高图片的打印效果。 A new surface sizing agent of hydrophobically cation-modified polyvinyl alcohol was prepared by copolymerizing Vinyl acetate and (3-methylacrylamidopropyl) dodecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride cation-modified monomer, and subsequently hydrolyzing. The structure and property of the hydrophobically cation-modified polyvinyl alcohol were characterized by FT-IR, DSC, extensometer and optical microscopy. Results showed that the hydrophobically cation-modified polyvinyl alcohol had excellent mechanical properties, crystalline properties, and acidic dyestuffs-fixed properties, qhe synthesized hydrophobically cation-modified polyvinyl alcohol was applied to surface sizing of color inkjet printing paper, and its inkjet printing performance was tested and evaluated. ~he experimental results showed that hydrophobicaUy cation-modified polyvinyl alcohol could enhance the color density and water fastness of the printed image dramatically, and improve printing quality.
