Attending physician in charge mechanism, which is originated in U.S., has incorporated the benefits of doctors and patients, and thus created a win-win situation for healthcare quality and hospital pro ts.However, this mechanism is established on the basis of free circulation of doctors and high level health marketization. It is still undetermined whether this mechanism could be copied in China, and it is also unsettled which attempts in di erent provinces is more favorable. Despite all the di culties, a Chinese style of attending in charge has still gained a lot of attention and expectation.
