历史上新乡县遭受黄河的支流沁河的危害很大,灾难深重。清朝乾隆年间的《新乡县志.河渠志》,对研究黄河问题具有重要的参考价值。对于黄河水患,正确的也是唯一的办法还是加固大堤。

In the history, Qinhe, branch of the Yellow River, has brought great damages to Xinxiang county. Xinxiang Annals · River Annals written in Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty provided important reference value for the research on Yellow River water problems, which has concluded that the only correct countermeasures against trouble of the Yellow River lied in the reinforcing of the dams.
