Study on the Surface Orientation Properties of Polyimide Derived from Cyclobutanetetracarboxylic Dianhydride

摘要 以 1,2 ,3,4 -环丁烷四羧酸二酐为原料合成了一个系列三种聚酰亚胺取向材料。研究了它们在不同固化温度、固化时间及摩擦强度下的表面取向性能 ,获得了 1.0~ 10 .5°范围的预倾角。结果表明预倾角随固化温度升高、固化时间延长而增大 ,随摩擦强度先增大后减小。三种聚酰亚胺都具有良好的表面取向性能 ,分别适用于TN及STN型液晶显示。 A series,three polyimide alignment materials were synthesized from,1,2,3,4-cyclobutanetetracarboxylic dianhydride.The surface orientation properties were studied at different curing temperatures,curing times and rubbing strengths,from which the pretilt angles of 1.0~10.5° were obtained.The results indicate that the pretilt angles increase with increasing curing temperature or curing time and increase at the beginning,then decrease with increasing rubbing strength.All three polyimide alignment materials show good orientation properties and can be used in TN or STN liquid crystal display (LCD) respectively.
