Comparison between Steel Pipe and PE Pipe for Horizontal Directional Drilling Crossing

从管材性能、穿越曲线、管道受力等方面对钢管和聚乙烯管应用于水平定向钻穿越进行了比较。在城市内小型穿越工程中采用聚乙烯管能减小穿越长度、降低工程造价、缩短施工期,但在穿越距离较长或穿越深度较深时,为了保证穿越管道的稳定性,应谨慎使用聚乙烯管。

Steel pipe and PE pipe for horizontal directional drilling crossing are compared in terms of material performance, crossing curve, pipeline stress and so on. In small-scale crossing projects in cities, use of PE pipe can reduce the crossing length, decrease the construction cost and shorten the construction period, however PE pipe should be carefully used to ensure the stability of crossing pipeline when the crossing distance is long, and the crossing depth is deep.
