On "落英缤纷" in the Light of Contextual Aesthetics

文化交流离不开翻译。在中西文化的交流过程中,《桃花源记》得到了越来越多中外学者的译介。虽然对文本的解读存在主体间性,但是各种英译文本对"落英缤纷"大同小异的意境审美,与世外桃源春意盎然的语境不符。本文试图从文本的角度出发,结合语境对其进行梳理,以求得对"落英缤纷"的整体把握。

There are hardly any cultural exchanges without translation. During the Sino-western cultural exchanges, The Story of the Peach Blossom Spring is being translated and introduced home and abroad by more and more scholars. While different people have different interpretations on the same text, many English aesthetic conceptions on ＂落英缤纷＂ are much the same, which is contrary to the lively spring context of the original. This article is trying to analyze the different versions and the orginal in the light of the very text and its contextual aesthetics so as to attain an overall understanding of ＂落英缤纷＂.
