客户端和服务器端脚本的设计，在基于数据库的Ｗｅｂ应用中，对子系统的安全性和 通用性及运行效率起着关键性的作用。本文介绍了客户端与服务器端脚本程序的 差别，并着重指出了在客户端和服务器端脚本的设计中需要考虑的几个主要原则。

The designing of client and server scripts exerts a key effect on the system's security and general, efficiency. This paper introduces different programs between the client and server scripts, and at the same time, especially discusses several principles in the designing process of client and server scripts.
