Design and Fabrication of a Freely Retractable Sealing Component

从工程实际出发,结合相关密封机理设计并制造出了一种自由伸缩式弹性密封件,该密封件的主要特性是借助结构件本身的弹性变化而产生出弹性力,提高了密封面的预紧力;同时对该密封件的设计思想及结构作了一定的介绍,对其结构特点以及适用场合进行了简要说明。

This paper is written based on engineering possibilities. Combining relevant concept of sealing mechanical design, a freely retractable sealing component is fabricated. The main feature of this sealing component is to transfer spring force generated by an elastic deforma- tion of structure into sealing tightening force between the sealing surfaces, so that the tightening force is enhanced. Additionally, the design concept and mechanism of the sealing component are elaborated. The structural characteristics and practical applications will be briefly ex- plained.
